The Last Gallery is a contemporary art space showcasing work by artists from across the UK. The gallery sits at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons and houses exhibitions year-round. The gallery is un-manned, so visitors can experience the artworks completely alone, and although some artworks are offered for sale, the emphasis is on the experience of viewing art rather than looking to buy it. The rural location makes this a very special and unexpected find for visitors to the area and a coveted treasure for those in the know. The gallery is open at specified times during the year (usually 10am-6pm on weekends), at other times artworks are displayed in the window spaces. |
